Perse's most widely toured act! This act is an homage to the show that got her started in burlesque, Boobs and Goombas: a Super Mario burlesque. Luigi has always lived in the shadow of his big brother, but now it's his time to shine. Watch as Luigi discovers what makes him feel like a shining star!
This is a balloon act inspired by Stephen King’s IT, a horror novel/mini series/movie about a monster which feeds off of fear (and children). I enter posing as Georgie, an early victim of Pennywise, the book’s villain. I wear a long yellow raincoat that hides my costume, hair, and face. I strip off the raincoat revealing myself to be Pennywise surrounded by red balloons. I use a prop knife with a pin attached to ‘stab’ myself and pop the balloons.
A classic fan dance with a historic twist! Persé starts as a classic 18th century suffragette, trying to get the audience's attention with classic slogans. When that doesn't work, she tries something a little more eye-catching.
Historically, suffragettes didn't like burlesque dancers, so this act has a little fun with history. A nod to the fact that there is no wrong way to be a feminist, clothed or unclothed!
Do I Move You
A classic burlesque act filled with sizzle and sass. With a delightful contrast between a dark blue, crushed velvet robe and playful bright red lingerie, "Do I Move You?" asks a questions that audiences are all too happy to answer.
This act is based on the Ancient Greek play, Medea, by Euripides. Medea has helped Jason and the Argonauts secure the Golden Fleece and become his bride. Before too long, however, Jason leaves Medea (and their two newborn children) for a younger Princess. Medea…doesn’t take it terribly well and kills their two children as vengeance.
This jaw dropping act is set to ‘Shake Senora’ by Harry Belefonte and includes baby head maracas.
